I regard AI as a tool that allows a small individual to stand against giants.
In an industry shaped by scale, capital, and infrastructure, AI shifts leverage. It compresses time. It expands experimentation. It gives an independent creator the ability to move with unprecedented speed and scope.
I engage with it deliberately. Every day is an experiment.
Since the beginning of my career, I have treated synthesizers and instruments as “toys.”
A toy is not trivial. A toy invites play. Play invites discovery. Discovery creates music.
AI is another toy on the table.
To ignore a device capable of generating unfamiliar perspectives would be a failure of curiosity. I use it to provoke ideas, destabilize habits, and test structures I might not have reached alone.
But one principle remains constant:
AI does not create my music.
AI does not define intention.
AI does not make decisions.
I compose.
I shape intention.
I am a musician.
I am a dream weaver.
